Eeep!!
I know it's been awhile guys.
My apologies.
Between traveling back to the United States for my best friend's wedding, getting over two bouts of illness (stomach issues and a cold) and finishing up my third module of teaching, blogging hasn't been at the top of my list of priorities. Also, I have a few mini-trips coming up and I figured I'd just blog when I got back and actually had news to share.
So this entry is more of a "hey, I'm still alive and thinking of you guys and planning to post a proper entry soon so don't lose heart." :)
Really quickly though...
I'm about to finish my third teaching module (!!) here at CECAMI and this coming week I'll be meeting up with my fellow February volunteers in Mindo for our mid-service conference. All of this means that I've officially reached my halfway mark here in Ecuador. I'm tentatively planning to end my "year" here at the end of December so I can be home for Christmas so I have approximately five months left.
Oh man, not sure how I feel about that...
After I conclude this module on July 23rd, I'll be on a month long break for the month of August. No classes. No teaching. Still not entirely sure what I'm supposed to do for three weeks but I'm thinking there will be lots of traveling involved if I can budget wisely. So there should definitely be more entertaining posts (complete with pics and vids) coming shortly.
Hope you're all doing well and keep an eye out for new posts!
ah, i was wondering if you were going to continue to blog. I figured you had settled into a routine and had nothing really new to share. Halfway done, huh? Time sure is flyin...
ReplyDeleteYou're still alive! Was wondering when another blog post would come around. Hopefully you get a chance to do a lot of cool stuff during your three week vacay!

ReplyDeleteThat's the plan--lots of traveling (or at least as much as I can manage on a tight budget lol), so more riveting blogs coming soon!
